Brodie’s enthusiasm for life is infectious, and he’ll greet you with boundless excitement whenever you come home. While he’s a strong and sturdy fella, his exuberance sometimes leads him to jump up in joy – a behaviour that with a little training, he’ll surely refine. His strength is matched only by his loyalty, and he is learning to walk very well on a harness. We highly recommend harness training since he is so strong!

An active household is just what Brodie needs to thrive. He’s bursting with energy and would be the ideal partner for someone who enjoys outdoor activities and exercise. Given his vivacity, a spacious acreage would be his haven, allowing him to stretch his legs and explore to his heart’s content. Although Brodie loves a good play session or walk, he also loves to relax and can often be seen taking a nap in the sun in one of our yards here at the shelter <3. He has a big love for all toys that squeak, and he can't wait to be showered with all the goods! He loves being out in his yard patrolling for all sorts of new smells and even better if you're out enjoying his yard with him too! While Brodie has a heart of gold, he does have a few preferences when it comes to his living situation. He's not a fan of other dogs, so a home where he can be the solo star would be perfect. With training he may be able to have some doggie friends, but at the moment he can be dog selective. Due to his strong nature, a home without young children is best. Brodie would also likely do best in a house without cats or other small animals.
