Grace is a sweet, shy lady who loves to be pet but can be startled if people approach her too quickly. With every positive interaction, she is building confidence in people and her sweet nature has started to show. With those that she trusts, Grace can be found happily leaning in for gentle head strokes or ear scratches at every opportunity.

Grace spends the majority of her time cuddled up on the softest blanket that she can find. Coziness and love are her top priorities and she is looking for a calm retirement home where she can relax, lounge around, and continue to build her confidence when it comes to people.

She came from a home with several other cats so she would likely do alright with a well-matched feline friend with a slow introduction. She also wouldn’t say no to being a solo cat and having all your love to herself! Grace is overweight and her adopter would need to continue to manage her diet to keep her healthy.

**Grace is currently being treated for a severe UTI and awaiting dental surgery so she’s not ready to be adopted quite yet. Local adopters could have the option to foster-to-adopt. See staff for more info.

A behaviour counselling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.
