Meet Veloci-rabbit!

I’ve worked with a lot of rabbits and this guy has to be one of the funniest I’ve encountered. He has a huge personality packed into that tiny little puff ball body. This boy is looking for his forever home with plenty of space to do zoomies and binkies. He is a very curious bun and will make sure to investigate any interesting activity! Veloci-Rabbit has done really well learning to use a litter box while here in our care and would make a great free roaming bun in a home. While not a fan of being picked up, like most bunnies, he loves his veggies and taking naps all stretched out. He really likes having his own space and would do best as the only bunny in a home.

Every morning when we go into to say hi, he will bossily ask for a banana or strawberry treat, thumping around until his demands are known. When we clean his enclosure, he’s often upset that we are fussing with his things he will quickly set them back to how they are “supposed to be”, shuffling boxes back into place, moving towels to the right corner…

Probably the funniest thing about this boy is how he sleeps. Common for some white rabbits, Veloci doesn’t hear 100% perfectly. And while it’s no harm to his health, it means he sleeps really deeply. Like REALLY deep. But he also sleeps in funny positions and in odd spots. Passed out in the middle of his tile floor, inside a carboard box, in the corner of his room, you name it, he will sleep there.

While this guy is well-loved and spoiled here, what he really wants is a forever home. We know someone with a great sense of humour and a lot of love will scoop this boy up eventually.
