Meet Mr. Melvin! This gentle boy is searching for a calm and quiet forever home.

Melvin can be quite shy and nervous in new environments. But with time, space and love – he is sure to come around and be a lovely feline!

Melvin has also lived with other cats before, so he may be ok with a resident cat in the home!

My Melvin is a long haired beauty, currently shaved due to some matting. He will require ongoing grooming and de-matting to keep him looking and feeling his best!

Do you think you could be Melvin’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1.) Visit our centre to meet this pet during adoption viewings Tues, Wed. Friday-Sunday 1pm to 4pm, learn more about his ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or

2.) Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit!

Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hours.
