Wren is a real go-getter. She doesn’t let anything get in the way of her dreams, and strives to improve herself daily. She has the focus and drive to do great things, and is looking for a companion to help her achieve what she can’t on her own. Wren is fascinated by agility, and intrigued by scent work. Keeping her breed in mind, Wren would highly benefit from having a job or activity to look forward to and practice daily. To deprive her of this, is in her mind to deprive her of her entire existence.

Belgian Malinois are known for their intelligence, loyalty, and trainability. They are also known to be demanding, strong, and intense. All of which, Wren is. While Wren is an amazingly sweet gal that loves hugs and belly rubs, it is important to note that she is not suited for everyone, and requires a lot of attention. Wren wants to have all the fun in the world, while engaging both her body and mind. Learning new tricks and exploring new places are what fuel her desires, and she’s not willing to compromise on having fun.

Currently Wren is working on her leash walking, which seems to be the one thing she will bargain with you on. Her preference is to sprint the whole way, but if a good pace can be set she is happy with that. She’s just not into casual saunters! Bike rides, anyone? Wren is responsive to commands, and enjoys her off leash time as well. Trails, beaches, mountains, you name it- Wren is interested. Wren is great in the vehicle as well, especially because she knows that means extra exciting destinations are in her future.

Wren is into treats as much as the next, but is required to be on a Veterinary diet as her main meals.
