Meet Marvelous Maddie! Maddie is looking for home that will love her for the rest of her life.

While Maddie is a sweet and gentle girl, she can be quite shy and will require time to adjust to new people, new environment and a new schedule. In particular, Maddie doesn’t do well with fast, unpredictable movements. In addition, she can sometimes shy away from being petted but is eager to be affectionate so long as its on her terms. Because of that we do not think Maddie would do well in a home with infants, toddlers or child who has never lived with a dog before. However, we think in the right environment where boundaries are understood and with the right amount of exposure this is something Sadie can grow to be comfortable around.

Maddie is housetrained, she will even let you trim her nails.. gently! Maddie lives for car rides and would love to go on all the adventures! She is quite active and very smart. She would make a great partner for someone that likes to go for long walks, hiking, or running. She is also very playful with toys and loves to play fetch.

2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a meeting!

*Please Note: All dog appointments must be booked ahead of time, and will not be accommodated on a walk-in basis.
Due to the high number of applications, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
