Meet Rain

Add to favourites

During this heat wave, how about some gentle ‘Rain’!!! This sweet senior is one happy camper. Her tail is always wagging whether interacting with her humans, being groomed, or encouraging playtime. Where she lacks a little, is for basic obedience using positive reinforcement training. As she is so gentle and easy going, Rain will make an excellent student. She remains calm and relaxed in most situations with the exception of traffic. Rain was surrendered to a shelter up north and may need some socialization to adapt to being a city dog. Her owner had too many animals that included multiple dogs. We feel she is best suited to be the only pet in her new household as there have been reports of resource guarding issues. Rain LOVES to cuddle with her humans and is deserving to have all the attention.

Do you think you could be Rain’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or

2. Submit an online application adopt.spca.bc.ca and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
