Sullivan (or Sully as he is affectionately known) came into the SPCA as a stray found loose on the streets neglected and scared. He was very nervous when he arrived, we’re not sure if he’d ever had a proper home before, and it has taken awhile for him to get comfortable and come out of his shell. He is currently in a foster home where his sweet personality is finally shining. Sully can be very skittish of hands at first but once he starts to trust someone he absolutely loves being petted and getting cheek and back scratches. He will be all over you, pushing into your hand for affection. He is still not very comfortable with being picked up so adopters will need to be prepared to work with him on that. It’s possible he may never end up being a lap cat but he happily follows his foster mom all around the house and wants to be near his favourite people constantly. Sully loves being around other cats and is looking for a home with a feline friend who he can run around and wrestle with. He’s an extremely playful cat who loves his toys and has lots of energy. Sullivan also could probably get used to living with a cat friendly dog as he has been around a small dog in his foster home and done well. Due to his nervous nature it is recommended he be an indoor only cat and there be no small children in the home. Given time to adjust and settle in Sullivans curiosity, playfulness, and sweetness will blossom in the right home. Could you be the one to make his dreams come true?
