Meet Tafi!

Tafi is a playful and friendly adventure cat, who loves to explore and roam around on his harness. Tafi is very confident and likes to strut his stuff around the shelter like he owns the place! He will run up to new people to greet them right away and rub his face all over their legs, meowing and purring for cheek scratches.

Tafi loves to chase toys, climb tall scratching posts, and run through tunnels. He is very vocal and will let you know if you’re 5 minutes late for breakfast! Tafi would enjoy a home that has a lot of space for him to explore and use up all his energy.

Tafi had a potential adopter to take him home but he was sadly forgotten about 🙁 He has been very sad ever since and wonders why everyone keeps abandoning him .

Tafi values his independence and can get overwhelmed quickly with too much touch or handling. He enjoys his own space, and will do well in a home with a cat-savvy human that will be open to working on his behaviour. Tafi is quick to let you know when he wants pets, or when he has had enough – for this reason, it would be best for Tafi to be in a home without children or other animals. He needs a home where he can comfortably be the only attention seeker in the house!

In Tafi’s previous home he was being walked on a harness, so he would make a great adventure cat for someone active who is looking to take their cat hiking and camping. While he would love to go out exploring the neighbourhood straight away, he will need a gradual transition to having his harness on with someone new, in a new space. Tafi thoroughly enjoys his outdoor time, and has been known to be a little escape artist. Therefore, it would not be safe for Tafi to live in a apartment. He will need to live in a safe home with a human who is willing to keep a close eye on him!
