This sweet senior beauty came from a busy home alongside another kitty friend. Known to her original owners to shy away from the hustle and bustle, when Abby arrived to the shelter, she was more than excited to get started searching for her new forever home where she can soak up all the attention! She walked out of her crate and instantly greeted staff by making very careful biscuits and rubbing her cheeks all over them.
Abby didn’t get a ton of one-on-one time as her family changed and grew over the years. An addition of a puppy to the family and her childhood best friend – now an adult daughter moving out whom Abby used to sleep in bed with and Abby found herself under a lot of stress. Upon surrender, Abby and her sister were in need of a lot of medical care.
Since arriving into the care of the BCSPCA, Abby has been on a round of antibiotics, pain relief medication and has received full dental surgery, leaving only 2 teeth left in her adorable mouth!
Abby deserves a home where she can be the Queen! She isn’t opposed to sharing a space with another chill cat and would do great in a home that is devoted to ensuring that she receives lots of dedicated playtime and snuggles. We do suspect after her experiences with rambunctiousness in the home, she would rather not share her space with dogs or young children.
If you have a senior sized hole in your heart and you’re ready to welcome a perfect angel into your home, Abby promises to make biscuits by your side and shower you in endless purrs for the rest of her days.
Abby is taking a break from the shelter and enjoying her time in foster. If you’re interested in her, please fill out this application below:
