Monisa is a registered, chestnut arabian mare, and stands roughly 15hh. She came into care in emaciated condition and needed several months to recover and gain weight. She still has a bit of weight to gain, and needs to develop some muscle mass. She is 26 years old, but far from ready to retire. We are currently assessing her training level under saddle, but it seems very likely that she has been ridden before. She has excellent ground manners.

Monisa doesn’t have much grinding surface left on her teeth, so the useable teeth get sharp quickly and she requires dental floats every 6 months or so. She is up to date on vaccines and de-worming.
