Meet Ohana
Ohana means Family, and family means no one gets left behind or forgotten, with that being said, she is looking for a family where she can be the kid she truly is. A full schedule of doggie brain games, sports, and good old walkies is what this girl needs to be happy. She’s learning to focus and listen to cues using animal kind training and will thrive in a home that continues to teach her the life skills she’s missed out on. Ohana is a very sweet, sensitive girl who is active, bright and has a ton of potential. She is still getting to know the staff here and is just starting to build confidence, learn manners and how to walk on a leash.
Ohana can be unsure of new people and situations and will take time and patience to warm up to things, she is easily startled and can easily become overwhelmed so we require a secure home with a fenced yard for this gal. As she’s more on the shy side she will require multiple meets with any potential adopter to ensure she’s comfortable before going into as home.
This sleek little miss is built for speed and would do well in Agility or other doggie sports like Flyball, Disc, or Rally-O. She has lived with other dogs before but would need to be introduced slowly to new friends and be appropriately matched as she is a high energy dog who would do best with another high energy dog to keep up with her.
