Shadow here, just poppin’ in to say hey!

Freshly one year old, I’m all about new experiences. I love to run and explore, especially when I have friends with me to take it all in with. Friends are great, aren’t they!? Doggie friends and of course human friends! I’m ALWAYS looking for more companions. Especially if they share my interests of being active and playing with toys.

Speaking of toys, holy moly those things are great. Can I show you? Hold on, I’ll go get one… or two. I think everybody needs to have a stuffy, they’re just so cute and comforting! Me personally, I have a whole collection, and cherish every single one.

You know what else is super awesome and fun? WALKS. Oh man. Can we go!? I just get so excited sometimes, especially on walks. It’s a great time, and we meet so many new friends! I see them and I just want to ruuuunn to them. Someone recently told me that I need to play it cool though, so I guess I can try to tone it back. Gentle reminders would be helpful though, I forget sometimes. I really do like to learn, being a good boy is my favourite.

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about why my name is Shadow. Maybe it’s from my tendency to walk at the hoomans heels, almost like I’m their own shadow? I hear that’s a breed trait, apparently I have a lot of those. I get called handsome a lot too, and the camera loves me. Something about majestic features? Although l have to admit, sometimes my lips get stuck on my teefs.

Anyway, I’ve recently found myself without a home, and am looking for a new one to rest my paws! I would be forever grateful for a large space, and opportunity to be my silly self. I love being social, and prefer to have things to do.
