Leo is a 3 month old, Caucasian Mountain Dog. A breed that isn’t very common, we are strongly recommending that people do some research on the breed prior to submitting an adoption application. They are very protective and if not socialized properly are prone to aggression issues. Most will grow to weigh over 100 pounds and will require A LOT of grooming. Once given the chance to properly meet people he is very social and playful. Leo is not fully house-trained and is still learning how to walk on leash.

Adopting a puppy is a big decision (and life long commitment to the dog!). Before taking the plunge, it is a good idea to research breeds, training techniques etc and should include all members of the family. The time it takes in the beginning (house training, chewing, waking you up at night, training, socializing) more than pays itself back when your uncontrolled mass of energy grows to be a invaluable member of the family.
