Rosemary? Parsley? Oregano? Nope, this is Sage!

Sage has earned the title of shelter sweetheart, for obvious reasons. She wants everyone to know just how lucky they are to call her a friend, and is always searching for more companions to join her inner circle. Sage isn’t picky when it comes to friends, as long as they share her enthusiasm of life. During her stay with us she has made human friends of both the adult and child variety, tries her best to be a part of all dog play times, and is interested in learning more about cats.

With a soft spot for “pup cups”, Sage likes to make every outing special. A good walk followed by a trip to Starbucks is her idea of a great day, and it’s hard to say we disagree! No matter the walk, Sage is always a pleasure and is sure to take in the fresh air and any view around. She has a curious mind, but is respectful to all. The best of both worlds, she has the perfect mix of energy and chill. Hike all day, cuddle all night. Sage gets fairly excited about snuggles, being sure to always have one paw on you for extra comfort.

While Sage has the word “intelligent” down pat, she is always ready and willing to add to her brain power. Especially if there are some yummy treats involved. This gal loves her snacks, and is very good at convincing you to give her more. If it’s not treats she’s after, it’s toys! A happy prance while carrying around a toy is sure to warm your heart in the best of ways.
