Meet Shiba (in Foster)

Add to favourites

UPDATE: Solomon and Shiba have made incredible progress and will seek attention and pets. Don’t miss out on an amazing affectionate pair!

Shiba is looking for her forever home with bonded brother Salomon. The pair came into our care after having lived in a hoarding situation. Shiba is the more shy of the two but does have a lot of potential to be a very loving companion like Salomon. She is looking for a quiet adult only home that has had cat experience before to help her build her confidence and ensure her that she can feel safe in her new home. Shiba and Salomon love to play and lounge by the window safely indoors. Shiba, along with Salomon will need a dedicated home that will consistently provide lots of positive reinforcement. Once they are comfortable with you they both really enjoy gentle pets, especially cheek pets, and will reward you with soft purrs of pleasure! If you feel that you would be the right match for the bonded pair, follow instructions below.

Do you think you could be Shiba and Salomon’s person? Here are some ways to find out:
1. Visit our centre to meet this pet during viewing hours at 3202 Norland Ave, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, an online applicant would have to be available to come in for a meet within 24 hrs.
