Meet Daisy
Introducing Miss. Daisy!
Daisy has had a challenging beginning to life, but with gentle care from her foster mom, she is gaining weight steadily and has almost achieved her goal of a healthy size. When she has reached her healthy weight, she will need to be spayed before being officially adopted.
This girl has not had much experience living in a home environment, and was primarily housed outdoors. She is practicing her house manners and will need a dog-experienced home to help her master some of the basics. Daisy is full of beans, barks and bays, and big hugs! She will need a patient and energetic adopter that is prepared to give her lots of exercise and attention. As she is a loud Coonhound, she would do best in a space that does not have neighbours in near proximity, and would absolutely love a fenced in yard for training purposes.
At the end of a play-filled day, she loves to curl up next to you for snuggles and scratches.
Thank you for your interest in adopting! Do you think you could be Daisy’s person?
1. Reach out to the BC SPCA Victoria Center to meet this animal, learn more about their ideal match, and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit. Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest.
