Meet Thor

Add to favourites

Thor came from a difficult beginning with his sister Lily, but this sweet giant is looking to spend the rest of his days in a home perfect for him.

Thor is a large, strong dog that is experiencing many things for the first time. So, he is looking for an owner who will be patient with him while he learns and adjusts to the big world.
Thor loves his long walks with our volunteers who have the strength and patience for him. We are working on Thor’s reactivity, which includes towards dogs, other animals, people, bikes, and the flailing tube man at the car dealership across the street. Dogs in particular really set him off, but we believe with the right owner, this could be improved upon over time.

This big dog would thrive in a home with a large amount of outdoor space for him to run and woof and play! Thor would do best in an area without much city noise to keep his environment as stress-free as possible.

Once you gain Thor’s trust, through walks, hand-feeding, and gentle pets, he will happily attempt to lay right on your lap to make himself comfortable. This giant goofball loves to be loved.

If you are looking for double the love but super sizes, Thor sisters Lily will also be available for adoption in the New Year after her puppies have been weened!
