Meet Bruce

Add to favourites

This sweet young Lab mix had been limping around, clearly in pain, with his front paw completely twisted at the wrist. Thankfully a kind Samaritan notice and brought him in for care. He was taken to the vet immediately and it was found that poor Bruce had been suffering severe nerve damage and infection in his twisted paw. On top of that, he also had fractures in both his upper and log leg – this type of damage was likely caused be some type if large trauma like a vehicle accident. It’s hard to image the pain Bruce endured. The vets made the difficult decision to amputate his leg: since he’s still young at just 1 year of age, he has adapted to life as a tripod quickly and easily.
Bruce is a big lovable goofy boy! He is always ready for a cuddle and gives kisses for free! This guy believes he is a lap dog in an over sized body! He will make such an amazing addition to a family!
