Meet Bliss

Baby Bliss is looking for the purr-fect family!

Bliss came from a hoarding environment with many other cats, and when she arrived she was underweight, sick with an upper respiratory illness, and parasites. She has received vet care and she’s feeling much better! She is very playful and loves rocketing around her kennel chasing her toys and her siblings. She is good with being picked up, and is a champion cuddle monster with lots of love to share. She loves to be pet and is very playful so make sure she has lots of toys. Bliss was a little bit shy at first so may need a bit of time to adjust in her new home, but she quickly finds her confidence and will be zooming around and enjoying pets in no time. She will make a loving and wonderful addition to a home.

Cats at the property Bliss came from tested positive for upper respiratory illnesses such as calicivirus and mycoplasma bacteria, as well as parasites. Bliss was treated for the parasites and bacterial infection, but adopters should be aware that though she is now symptom free, there is a small possibility calicivirus can remain in a cats system for life and may flare up slightly in times of stress. Or Bliss may stay symptom-free for the rest of her life. We recommend she be kept as an indoor only cat and either be the only cat in her home or live with felines who have already been exposed to this virus (you could adopt a sibling for a friend from the same home). Staff can go over Bliss’s medical history in more detail with potential adopters during our adoption counseling session.

An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.

Do you think you could be Bliss’s person? Here are some ways to find out:

1. Visit our centre to meet this pet, learn more about their ideal match and apply to adopt in person; or
2. Submit an online application and staff will contact the first suitable adopter to set-up a visit! Kindly note that due to the high number of applications and the availability of walk-in adoptions, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their interest. We are not able to contact all applicants.
