He’s cautious and shy with the first take,
but underestimating this guy would be a rookie mistake.
He’s new at love and takes his time,
but once he gets to know you he takes a shine.
He’s easily won over with yummy food,
Treats put Rookie in a snuggly mood.
Slow and steady wins the race,
Rookie is just learning but we have faith.
With time and patience he’ll learn to trust,
Meeting sweet Rookie is an absolute must!
