Meet Rocky (surrey 2)

Add to favourites

Say hello to Rocky!

This little guy is curious and friendly, but can be a bit more hesitant than some of the other rabbits in our care. We’ll give him credit though, just like Balboa, this Rocky never backs down from a challenge.

Rocky enjoys his space but will happily approach visitors to see if they have any treats for him. Occasionally he will pop up onto your lap or be open to receiving pets, but it is dependent on his mood. He has not yet been fully litter trained, but he is making great progress and is the most tidy of the bunnies at the Surrey Branch currently.

Rocky enjoys the company of female rabbits but he’s been known to get into a few fights with males (especially his nemesis Apollo). He was previously injured by one such fight, but bounced back quickly and was great about taking his medication when required. Now he’s all healed up and ready for a more permanent home.

If you’re interested in adopting Rocky, please complete the application at the link below and email a copy to surrey@spca.bc.ca along with a photo of his enclosure/free-roam space.
