Meet Ruth ( Bonded To Suzuki & Nelson)

Add to favourites

Meet Ruth!

She likes: Calm quiet energies, dome beds, hiding places, and being up high to watch her surroundings.

Dislikes: Hectic surroundings, loud noises, new situations and fast movements.

A little bit about Ruth.

She would love your help!

Ruth is a strong independent woman, which is why she was named after Ruth Bader Ginsburg. She prefers to watch over and keep an all seeing eye on what is going on rather than participate in any of it. She came to the SPCA along with her 6 siblings and grew up extremely close – quite literally sleeping on top of each other – with her brothers and sisters. Since she was one of the less socialized siblings in her group with little to no human interaction, it will take time to earn her trust and she’ll need to be assured that she is loved and deserving of a wonderful person to spoil her.

Ruth would benefit from a calm, stress free home so she can overpower her insecure side and flourish into the strong beautiful woman we know she is inside. A cat experienced guardian to help keep her from hiding in the shadows will be beneficial. Ruth is still a bit feral and doesn’t really like pets but she is very curious and once she gets to know you likes to hang around and see what’s going on.

Ruth is currently in a foster home in Abbotsford, BC with her two siblings Nelson and Suzuki, all three of these guys were returned due to under-socialization. They are slowly learning what it’s like to be house cats but need to go to a home that is experienced with cats and is ready to put in the time and energy these cats need. Ruth and her brothers are extremely close and we think it would be best to find a home where all three of them could stay together.
