Meet Pippin *with Dorito
Dorito and Pippin are looking for a family to call their own!
Dorito is the more confident one in this dynamic duo. He enjoys being pet once he trusts people, and he loves his greens veggie treats! Pippin is a lot more shy and takes comfort in being close to Dorito. They are looking for a home together to spend their days. With a patient and gentle handler we expect that they will gain lots of confidence and be wonderful companions. An adopter will need to be prepared to help them be more comfortable with petting. Guinea pigs require special housing, enrichment, and diet to ensure they are happy and healthy. It is important to research these needs before bringing guinea pigs home to make sure you are ready for the commitment and fun included in being a guinea pig guardian. Hearing their happy little squeaks once they are settled in is a great reward!

An adoption counseling session with our Adoption Staff is necessary before adopting any animal.
Please note due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our adoption process has changed. Please visit our website https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/how-to-adopt/ for more information. All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application.
***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application. We are not able to call all applicants.***
