Meet Memphis

Add to favourites

Memphis is currently looking for a new home. This beautiful kitty came into our care originally from a home with a large number of under socialized cats. We found her to be quite shy but very sweet and we were lucky to find her a new home with a fantastic family who loved her very much. Unfortunately their existing cat was not very fond of Memphis and was quite mean with her. Her family felt that it was not fair for her and decided to bring her back so that we could find her another home. Memphis’ previous family mentioned that she has made huge progress with her socializing, and while she is still scared of fast movements and loud noises, she is very playful with her people and on her own. She loves to have her belly rubbed and her cheeks pet, but she can get over stimulated and will give a gently bite if she’s had enough. We are hoping to find Memphis a quiet experienced home that will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Memphis does seem to like other cats, but we would say she would be best suited in a home with only one cat that is very easy going and welcoming of other cats. Being that Memphis is still skittish and can give small bites we are prioritizing an adult only home. If you think Memphis’ may be a match for you please fill out our online application and reach out to the branch for more information.
