Meet Florence (rich)

Add to favourites

Meet the fabulous Florence! This little lady is a resilient, brave bun who came into our care when she was seized from a terrible environment. Florence arrived quite underweight and understandably, very scared of people. Fortunately, she has blossomed now into a lovely girl. She is incredibly food motivated, so we have been using greens as a way for her to begin trusting people again. Florence can still be a little skittish and will bolt by loud sounds or sudden movements. Once she becomes comfortable with you, she’ll accept gentle pets. Florence will do best in a quiet and calm home with a patient family who will give her time to adjust to her new environment. We think Florence might do well with another male rabbit to keep her company and help with her socialization. She’s a smart bun who is now litter trained, so she’ll ultimately be a great candidate as a free-roam rabbit. If you know you can give Florence the loving home she so deserves, please fill out an application for her on the BC SPCA website today!

*Please note: rabbits love to have lots of space to roam. Please see the the BC SPCA rabbit care guide for a suitable set up:
