Meet Honey

Add to favourites

You’ve never met anyone like Honey! This sweet little lady has the energy of a laser beam with the equipment of a tricycle. Honey recently had an amputation, leaving her with three legs to bolt around on.

Honey was involved in a hit-and-run, leaving her with a damaged front leg, and a hip issue. She will need a family who can help her recovery in the long term, as she is going to undergo another surgery to ensure her hip is healed and healthy.

Honey loves to go for walks, chase her toys, and obedience training. She is excited to please, and can get vocal when she wants your attention. Her small size makes her perfect to bring along on road trips, backpacking, and camping – the only thing is to make sure she doesn’t burn herself out!

Honey would do best in a home where she is an only dog, but does well with calm dogs who can match her excitement. She has been around cats and small animals, but with her high energy, it might be best for her to be in a dog-friendly home.

Since Honey requires another surgery, all interested applicants will need to live in the Prince George area. If Honey sounds like the companion for you, please submit an application!
