Meet Cocoa.

Cocoa is a beautiful black cat with a glamorous glossy coat of fur. She is a sweet senior cat and is quite talkative. She was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and will need a recheck again in 4 months. Due to her diagnosis, the veterinarian is not comfortable performing her much needed dental at this point and she will need a dental in 6 months time. Her adopter must be comfortable providing her the medical care she will require over the course of her life.
At first, she is highly cautious of her atmosphere, and it takes her a little while to settle in. It might take her a couple of days to settle down but once she is comfortable with her new surroundings, she is quite friendly and enjoys the company of humans. Once you have her trust we found that she likes to curl up on your lap and take a nap. She is not particularly fond of children, and would do best in an adult only home. She has household manners and uses her litter box and scratching post.
