Meet Cyber

Add to favourites

Cyber was surrendered at no fault of his own. This big Malamute boy is full of energy, goofy and entertaining!

If you have love for and experience with northern breeds, this is the man for you. Cyber is looking for a strong guardian who is very active, has a good sense of humor and is willing to commit to positive reinforcement training.

Cyber needs a life filled with enrichment, physical exercise, and continued training. He is still a giant puppy so a consistent, fun routine would greatly benefit him as he grows into adulthood. He already knows sit, stay, and shake, and is eager to learn more fun tricks. He is a confident dog and needs an equally confident guardian to help him learn a few more manners.

Cyber is a typical malamute: stubborn, vocal, expressive and loves to howl when sirens go by. No apartments or townhouses for Cyber; Shared walls with neighbors would create challenges. Because of his size and energy level a home with no children or small pets is a must. He is used to a house with a fenced yard but should not be left unattended outside. Sadly he is not fully potty trained and needs ongoing work in this area. Cyber has shown some guarding behavior over high value items like bones and delicious treats. While this behavior is common in dogs it needs to be watched carefully to avoid conflict. He should be left alone while eating and not bothered. Working with an Animal Kind trainer will help this boy immensely.

He has expressed an interest in hiking, and we agree that time outdoors would be an ideal activity to let his malamute nature shine!
