April showers bring Spring flowers.

Meet Dandelion!

Dandelion has big puppy energy and forgets her manners when she is excited. She can sometimes be jumpy, mouthy and will throw her body into you to say Hello. She has a history of doing well with dogs she knows well, however she still needs gradual introductions to meeting new dogs and has shown to be somewhat reactive on leash. She is a very social girl and may do well in a home with older (12+), dog savvy children, however due to some fear and anxiety she has exhibited we know toddlers and young children will be too much for her. Dandelion will need an owner with a calm and consistent routine, guardians who have plenty of time for exercise and who understand Positive Reinforcement and will continue to work on her obedience training & reactivity to both dogs (while on a leash) and visitors in a new environment. She is an excellent trail blazer and is looking for a very active home who can keep up to her energy! She LOVES car rides and settles in comfortably, often curling up into a doughnut and sleeping peacefully until she arrives at her destination. She is VERY food motivated and is on her BEST manners in the presence of food. She is hyper affectionate and sensitive to energy and will need a calm, patient and good natured guardian who understands her individual needs.
