Meet Butch

Add to favourites

Butch is a well mannered young boy who needed more time than his previous owners could give him. He was in a home with too many animals and not enough supervision so this sweet boy did not learn to play appropriately with other dogs. Butch will do well in a home with no other animals, as he does have some prey drive, or no young children as he is still an exuberant puppy at heart. His ideal home would be with active adults who love getting outside for long walks. He is a dream to walk on leash and knows basic commands like sit and stay. He waits patiently to be given his food or to be leashed. We have been practicing with Butch meeting other dogs and he has been very respectful so far. Given time and a proper introduction, he seems to want to have a play with the other dog! Even though he has the potential to make dog friends with appropriate greetings, he should live as the only dog in the home and a securely fenced yard is a plus. All around, this is an amazing boy for a family wanting a single pet. Butch loves a good couch cuddle and wants to be your best friend!
