Meet Grey Catsby

Add to favourites

Introducing Grey Catsby. This handsome boy arrived into our care in a special way. He has come from a long journey from Abbotsford! We don’t know much about his past before coming into our care so he is still settling in and showing to be an absolute love bug bit by bit. When he first arrived, he was a little bit congested but after some medical attention and TLC, we are making sure he is off to a healthier second chance. Grey Catsby can be a bit nervous at first so a quiet environment would be best suited for him. An experienced cat owner that can provide a safe indoor only home and help build his confidence with toys, cat tree posts and continue positive interactions with him will set him up for the best success. Grey would do best as the only cat in the home, we have seen that other cats cause him anxiety and preferably with older or mature children. Grey did have severe upper respiratory upon his arrival and after multiple vet visits, he has been diagnosed with Feline Rhinitis and Feline Viral Rhino Tracheitis. (which are major causes of upper respiratory disease in cats). Stress can cause flare ups but for the most part is easily managed.
Currently, Grey is in a foster home gaining his confidence and coming out of his comfort zone. The fosters report he is such a sweetheart. It took him about a week to settle in to his foster home and has since been delightful.

If you think Grey is the right fit for your home, please contact the Burnaby SPCA for further information!
