Meet Cash

Add to favourites

Meet Cash! Cash is a big boy with an even bigger personality. Cash missed out on crucial socialization and learning good manners as a young pup so he is a bit of an unruly overgrown puppy in an adult dog body! He really bonds strongly with people he knows. Otherwise he is pretty aloof with new people or sounds. Cash will let you know with his body language if he is feeling weary of people or situations. Behind a fence, Cash definitely shows his “guardian” breeding with lots of barking if people are to approach him. Don’t confuse his guardian-dog breeding with farm-life, though. Cash has next-to-no experience with livestock and would not be suitable as a farm dog. Since Cash is so big you can imagine he is quite strong as well. Cash will need an adult only home. Cash is a very smart boy and is doing very well learning the basics of good manners. He gets way too excited in certain situations and will leash grab and pull strongly on walks. For safety reasons he is wearing a basket muzzle while being walked while he learns to be polite on leash. He is highly food motivated and loves to be rewarded with yummy chicken or pepperoni. Because of his big behaviors he would require a home that has experience with large breed dogs and dogs that can be reactive to new things. Cash is NOT suitable for a first-time dog owner Cash enjoys galloping around his yard and likes to play fetch for a few throws. He would love a big secure backyard to stretch those big legs and get exercise. It may take more then one visit to bond with Cash and get to know him. Our staff work hard to find the right fit for both dogs and adopters and will provide support. If you are interested in adoption please fill out an application for Sunshine Coast dogs. If it’s a match staff will contact you for a meet and greet.
