Meet Peta Bonded To Peach

Add to favourites

Meet the lovely Peta and Peaches!

These two were brought to the SPCA as their owner could no longer care for them. They have been spoiled with love and affection while in foster. Their foster parent offered an insight on both of their personalities:

“Peach and Peta are often found exploring together when on their supervised playtime outside of their enclosure, snacking together, or snuggling up in the pen. The twin sisters both love each other and look out for one another, grooming and ensuring the other is comfortable and taken care of. Both will race over for head scratches whenever you’re nearby.

Peta is our “golden stone” derived from the Native American origin. She loves getting pets from her humans. Peta is an outgoing and social bun who loves getting her head scratched and receiving pets. She loves eating alfalfa hay and yummy treats such as apples and carrots. She will warm up quickly to anyone who will provide a treat. She has a great sense of curiosity! She wants to know what you’re up to, whatever it is.

Both Peach and Peta love exploring, and are often doing zoomies or binkies. They would do great in a home that allows them to free-roam or to have daily supervised playtime outside their enclosure.

They will nibble anything so would benefit from lots of bunny-approved enrichment items to chew and shred in their home. They are still working on their litter training, but they are still young and easy to train.”
Peta and Peaches are looking to be adopted together as they share such a close bond! If you know you can provide these two their forever home, please fill out an application through the SPCA website.

*Please note: rabbits love to have lots of space to roam. Please see the the BC SPCA rabbit care guide for a suitable set up: https://spca.bc.ca/wp-content/uploads/rabbit-care-guide.pdf
