Nix is a young very sweet girl with a gentle old soul. Her initial reaction to anything is hesitation and nervousness but with curiosity and not fear.
She has met older children and is quite curious about young ones. She meets and interacts well with new dogs. Bonded quickly with her foster dog brother. She would be happy with an easy going medium to large breed dog in the home, no cats for this gal as they are a bit too tempting to chase.
Nix should be high energy! She is just as happy being out for a few hour hike as she is laying on her bed watching the rain. She is not a friend of rain….
Her favourite place to be is right beside her human or dog friend. Nix does not enjoy being alone. She has had positive training to her kennel and is happy to be there as long as she knows her people are around.
She has become a pleasant leash walker, has amazing recall, is learning to heel on command and other basic manners. House training will require a routine in a new environment, she is 90% there!
Nix is a fabulous traveller in the car. Her superpower is destroying toys in seconds! The more toys the better.
Nix is a loyal and loving companion that will thrive with company. She suits a home where someone is home a lot or take her to the office. If she is allowed to pretend she is a lap dog she will love you best.
