This boy is ADORABLE, he charmed our staff within minutes of arriving. Thor came into care after several life changes left Thor spending too much time alone which made Thor a very sad pup. Thor is looking for a home that has people around often as he loves his humans, or potentially another animal friend who could keep him company. Thor struggles with mild separation anxiety which is managed through anti-anxiety medication and a gradual departure training plan. His new guardian will need to be willing to put in a little training work initially while Thor gets used to his new surroundings and routines.
Thor has lived with dogs and cats in the past without issue. However, Thor has had difficulty getting along with cats in new homes and at this time we are looking to place him in a cat-free environment. He seems to prefer being left alone with animal friend’s rather than being truly alone and we suspect his separation anxiety will be greatly reduced with a dog friend.
Thor is a snuggly boy who loves cuddles and looks forward to meeting his new family!
