Meet Andy

Add to favourites

Meet Andy! This special boy came into BC SPCA care as a very fearful boy – staff was unable to leash him. Now, walks are one of his favourite activities! Andy needs a home that’s experienced with fearful dogs, as well as someone who can continue Andy’s health and weight loss journey. Andy is a pretty big boy, and due to this, his bum and his skin folds will have to be cleaned daily to prevent infection. Andy very recently lost his best friend in life and is very depressed and lonely without her. Staff are hoping to find and amazing home that will help Andy adjust to life without his bonded mate. It would be amazing to find another dog for Andy to bond to, preferably a mature and relaxed dog. Due to his fearful nature he needs a a home with no children. He might take some time to warm up, but once he does, Andy loves to play with squeaky toys.
