Meet Troy!

Troy is looking for a dog savvy home who can help him learn about the world and all the new experiences it has to offer.

He is an energetic boy and gets the best zoomies! He loves to gently jump up on you and get ear rubs. Troy does have quite the singing voice and loves to “talk” – he enjoys chatting! He is a big fan of treats and learns very quickly! He is mostly house trained and will opt to go outside for bathroom breaks if the option is available to him – he does like to “mark” new things in his environment and will need further guidance in this area.

Troy’s world is now full of new experiences, and he is learning all about new sights, sounds and places – just like a puppy, but in an adult body!
He will need a patient and kind guardian who is ready to help him learn all about his new world in a positive and encouraging way – hiring an Animalkind trainer would be recommended to assist in building Troy’s confidence. He can be quite shy of new people, and it may take him a couple of visits with a new person to feel comfortable – but once he’s warmed up to you, all he wants is love!
He enjoys toys and blankets, sometimes a little too much and will chew them. He will need supervision in his future home around these items until he settles in.

Troy has lived with other dogs but does prefer to have his own space – he would do best as the only animal in the home. No small animals or livestock for this guy,as he finds them way too interesting!
