Nala is looking for a new home. She has lots of energy and loves to play with a ball, splash in the water and go for hikes on leash. She is a very strong young girl but is learning some leash manners. Nala is going to need a home where someone can take a lot of time with her as she was not provided with proper guidance as a puppy nor has she ever been left in a house alone so she may have a tendency to chew. Nala has shown some tendency to display her herding breed behaviours so she wouldn’t do well in a home with young children but teenagers are probably okay. Nala shows some over-arousal around vehicles, bikes and other moving things and will need continued work counter-conditioning this behaviour in her new home. For safety, Nala currently wears a basket muzzle when out on walks. Ideally, Nala would go to a rural home with a big secure outdoor space for this active girl. She does tend to wander so a secure fenced yard is required. She is not suited to apartment, condo or city living. Even though Nala has some behaviour challenges to work through, she is a fun, happy young lady with lots of potential to be a great canine companion! If you are interested in meeting Nala please see steps below to put in an online application.
