Our sweet four year old girl Bailey has been in care for 51 days still waiting for her new, forever family. At a young age Bailey developed a hip issue and is scheduled for FHO surgery on June 23/21 in Abbotsford. We are looking for a “Foster to Adopt” home, which means Bailey comes into your home and becomes a part of your family, you transport her on surgery day and bring her back to your house and help her get through her recovery and rehab, of course we will be responsible for paying these invoices. Bailey is looking for a home with no small animals and no small children, unfortunately Bailey does have some resource guarding with high value treats and her food bowl, as well as some prey drive for smaller animals. At the shelter we have been able to manage the resource guarding very well by making sure she is fed only in her kennel. Bailey is such a sweet girl and LOVES being with people, she is very playful, active, cuddly and talkative, and has a unique smile that she shows you throughout the day. This spunky girl is everything most people are looking for in a dog companion.
