Meet Bear!
This big, handsome boy is a staff favorite. He is friendly, social and affectionate. He’s goofy and has such a great personality. He’s not vocal and doesn’t mind being left alone while you go to work or need to leave the house for errands etc. Bear enjoys the company of select dogs, but not all dogs. He might be okay living with another well-matched dog if he/she a calm, gentle and friendly. Bear is scared of loud sounds and cars driving by so he is still nervous going for walks on leash. He is getting better with this every day and he enjoys going for walks with another dog as it makes him feel safer. He would do best in a house on a quiet street. Bear is such a lovely, sweet boy that would love nothing better than to snuggle up next to his person. We are looking for a patient and calm adopter who will introduce Bear to new situations and surroundings slowly and with yummy treats as rewards. If he sounds like he could be your new canine best friend please fill out an application to the Abbotsford branch.

Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, our adoption process has changed.
Please visit our website for more information on the adoption process and to fill out an application.
