Meet Maximus

Add to favourites

Meet Maximus! A big guy with an even bigger personality. Max is a very high energy pooch and thrives when he has had adequate mental and physical stimulation. Since being in care Maximus has been working extra hard on learning his manners to be his best doggy self. Continual positive reinforcement training is a must for this guy. Therefore we are looking for a home who can work side by side with an Animalkind accredited trainer to ensure Max continues to flourish. Max seems to be impartial to other canine friends he has met while in our care. Although he may thrive with another active large companion. Max would do well in an adult only home as he forgets his size when excitable. On an average day you can catch this fella doing zoomies in the yard, vocalizing to staff about all of his adventures (he has a very loud voice), and leaning into you for cuddles. If you think Max sounds like the guy for you please contact the Nanaimo SPCA.
