Meet Harmony

Add to favourites

Harmony came to us as a stray with some pretty ruffled feathers. Not only did she have some feather injuries but she is also currently moulting. She can often be seen preening herself, or relaxing on her perch. She loves to have time to fly around and explore, and hangout with you while you do your thing. She’s pretty quiet for the most part, but enjoys singing along with our male dove Turtle. Harmony does well with Turtle when outside of the cage but if they are housed together she picks on home no matter how much he tries to impress her.
A Doves lifespan is around 10 years so they are a long commitment and also are prolific breeders so eggs will need to be removed on a regular basis if you have a male and female together.

Please note due to the current COVID-19 pandemic our adoption process has changed. Please visit our website https://spca.bc.ca/adoption/how-to-adopt/ for more information. All adoptions are by appointment only once we have received an application.

***Due to the high number of applications we receive for our animals, we will only be contacting potential adopters to further review their application***
