Excuse me, Sir? Can you please explain why you are allowed to be that cute? We ask him this every day and he still hasn’t given us an answer to explain how he got to be so devastatingly handsome. Sir is a three-year-old boy who came to us from an overpopulated property. He has the sweetest fluffy fur and a shy little demeanor. Because he is from a property with almost no human contact, Sir would like his new home to know that he will need lots of time and patience before he opens up. He is looking for a respectful human that can provide him with a safe, quiet space to be nurtured and learn to love. Sir is already on track to becoming a trusting guy, and has made a few friends with the shelter staff and volunteers. Giving Sir the time he needs to come out of his shell is worth the wait! If you have an appropriate forever home and a great big heart, then you may be the one he’s been waiting for. Although he refuses to tell us how he got to be so cute, he has told us that he would very much like a kind and gentle guardian.
Because of the provincial non-essential travel restrictions, we will only be considering applications from the East Kootenay area.
In order to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and members of the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made changes to our adoption process.
1. Submit an application: spca.bc.ca/adoption/application-forms/
2. Staff will contact you to set-up an appointment to come in for a visit!
Thank you for continuing to help animals find loving new homes! This enables us to keep caring for new animals at risk, even with limited staffing.
