Hey, Bub! Whatcha lookin’ at? Well he’s probably looking at you! Bub likes to stare at people, for what we can only assume, is supervisory purposes. He likes to make sure he knows what everyone’s up to and if they’re doing things properly. He’s very good at being a supervisor. Bub came to us from an over populated property where he did not get human socialization. Because of this, he is more comfortable with a hands off approach at first and likes to express his love via direct eye contact. We’re hopeful that with time and patience, he will open up to his guardians and adopt a more cuddly demeanor. He is such a quirky little fella and often has the staff in fits of giggles. Bub is one of a kind! He is looking for a home that will treasure his creepy tendency to be a lurker, and provide him with a quiet, safe, and nurturing environment where he can really relax and find his happy place. He would love to peek at your application (from around a corner, in an endearingly uncomfortable way) to see if the furever home he has been searching for is with you!
Because of the provincial non-essential travel restrictions, we will only be considering applications from the East Kootenay area.
In order to protect the health of our staff, volunteers and members of the public during the COVID-19 pandemic, we’ve made changes to our adoption process.
1. Submit an application: spca.bc.ca/adoption/application-forms/
2. Staff will contact you to set-up an appointment to come in for a visit!
