A home with a flexible schedule (works from home, semi retired etc)
Positive reinforcement training- (needs helps on walks and basic manners and fear reactivity to loud and unknown things)
A patient guardian who is committed
An experienced guardian who has had dogs before
Strangers (mostly men) (has stranger danger but warms up quickly)
Being left alone
Other dogs (can potentially make friends but no other dogs in the home)
Having someone get her overly excited (she likes a calm and relaxed environment)
Off-leash dog parks
Apartment living (if ever left alone)
WHAT TWINKLE HAS:
A positive attitude
A warm character
Twinkle needs a home that will allow her to decompress for a couple weeks. She needs time to relax and mold into her new home and routine. This includes but isn’t limited to: shorter walks, no new training techniques, no introductions to new people or dogs etc
A behavior consult will be required prior to an appointment to meet ‘Twinkle’ being set up with any applicant.
