Meet Dakota @Nikki’s
Meet the lovely Dakota, a sweet young adult cat who was previously found abandoned. She spent some time in the East Kootenay Branch before coming to Nelson. While Dakota has been through some tough times, her sweetness shines through. In her quiet foster home here, she has come out of her shy shell and likes being with people. She can be chatty at time, especially when it’s meal time or when you come home. When she hears the door open, she comes running into the room to greet you. Though hide-and-seek is her game of choice, Dakota will very quickly give up her game if she knows that cuddles are available. She’s very curious, explores everywhere, and leaves no glass of water upturned. Dakota purrs and kneads lots of biscuits for her loved ones.
She has lived in a home with other kitties before so may be okay sharing her future family with a respectful feline friend following proper introductions. Because she appreciates a slower pace, a home without busy young kids would be ideal. This pretty lady has already been through so much in her short life and is looking for a family to care for and love her.
