Meet Harley

Add to favourites

Harley is a special boy who is looking for a new forever home. His new person or people should have experience working with cats like Harley, and they should also be patient and willing to give this handsome man the time he needs to adjust to his new life. Harley came into our care under socialized, he lived in a home strictly indoors and with multiple cats, but unfortunately he had minimal human contact so he is leery of people. We are working with him to learn to trust humans, and he is currently in a foster home that is working on socializing him. He is making amazing progress each day and we know that he will get there, however it is going to take time for him to become confident with new people. Harley needs to find a quiet home where he can have some space of his own to get used to the sounds and smells of a new home, he does seem to be okay around other animals, but he cannot go to a home with children and is best suited for a home with a single person or a quiet couple. Harley wants to be with people and is enjoying the company, however he is still nervous and can lash out if you are moving too quickly for him. Harley is definitely looking for a special home, and we are happy to chat further with any potential adopters.
