PLEASE NOTE: BILLY CANNOT GO IN TO A HOME WITH OTHER ANIMALS!!
Billy is a very large boy that is looking for a very special home! His new guardians will need to be experienced, active, and very patient! Billy is currently receiving ongoing veterinary care, and will need to go to a home that is able to continue following up with his vet, and giving him his daily feedings. Billy has had some consistent digestive issues throughout his life, and will need to stick to a special diet and feeding plan to help him gain some weight. Billy lived with a young child, and did very well with her! However, he is also still very puppy like, and tends to be very jumpy and mouthy so he may not be best in a home with young children. If there are any children in Billy’s new home, he will need properly supervised, as well as continued obedience training. Billy also requires a home with no other animals, as he is reactive to them and has a high prey drive. He would greatly benefit from some training on proper leash manners, as he can pull hard when he gets excited! Overall, Billy is a very loving boy that adores his toys, cuddles, and being around his people! He is not used to being left alone for long periods of time, so his new home will need to work with him on slow departure exercises to help ease his separation anxiety. If you are interested in Billy, please fill out an application online.
