This handsome fluffy gentleman was found as a stray, looking a bit dirty and scratched up from life outside. He had some scratches and minor wounds likely from fighting with other outdoor cats as a big Tom. It has taken him some time to relax and trust in the shelter environment but Dutch has really started to open up and show he has lots of love to share in the right home. He can still be shy meeting new people and may retreat initially but all he needs is some patience, time and understanding to come out of his shell. He’s ready to leave the streets behind and be spoiled as a happy and safe inside a home. Dutch is looking for a patient, gentle guardian who will help him relax in his new home and show how loved he can be. He has a fluffy coat that will need regular brushing to help keep him looking glorious.

Dutch is a sweet boy who would do best in a calm, quiet home with no small children. He may get along with another friendly cat or kitten to keep him company but we are unsure how he would do with dogs. He may be selective of which cats he likes though with his rough history, so proper, slow introductions will be very important.
